Getting to Nancy
Nancy is located on a crossroads which connects to Paris, Strasbourg, Brussels and Lyon, and is easily accessible by car, train, plane, coach… and even boat! Let us guide you to the capital of the Dukes of Lorraine.
- By plane – The Metz-Nancy-Lorraine regional airport is around 30 minutes from Nancy by car. Visitors can also fly in to Luxembourg or Charleroi, two airports with easy connections to Nancy by local train and shuttle bus, as well as Sarrebruck (1 hr 20 by car) and Basel-Mulhouse (2 hr 15 by car).
- By car – Nancy is located at a major European crossroads : the A31 motorway if you are coming from Brussels, Luxembourg, Metz, the A4 motorway and the RN4 if you are coming from Paris or Strasbourg.
- By bus – Several coach companies run services to and from Nancy at very affordable prices. Ouibus schedules 9 connections from Nancy (Dijon, Lille, Lyon, Paris, Reims, Rennes, Marseille, Strasbourg, Valence), and routes from 6 destinations (Dijon, Lille, Lyon, Paris, Reims, Strasbourg). Eurolines also offers routes to international destinations.
- By train – Nancy station is located right in the heart of the city, in Place Thiers, at 5 minute walk from Place Stanislas. The station is on the Eastern TGV line. The journey is only 1 hr 30 from Paris!
